I would love to make this section of my site about me, but I won’t. I will tell you about someone greater than me that has transformed my life, Jesus. He is the reason that I even have the strength and courage to do this. Jesus came down from off his throne in Heaven, left all his splendor and glory, and came into this world to born as a child. Sweet baby Jesus! His life was sort of normal here on Earth, expect being born from a virgin, but he had a mom, dad, and brothers . Then something drastically changed about his life. He was baptised by his cousin John and received the Holy Spirit. And he received POWER! Jesus begun to teach and preach like no one had ever heard and doing these awesome miracles. Then they crucified him. They didn’t take Him to the cross kicking and begging to be set free but, Jesus sacrificed his life voluntarily (John 10:18). Jesus died for the forgivness of our sins so we could be in relationship with our “Holy Heavenly Father”.”… Whosoever believes will recieve eterrnal life” (John 3:15).
But it didn’t end there. Three days later, He was raised from the grave! Then in Luke 24:49, Jesus says, ” I’m sending to you what my Father promised, but you are to stay in the city until you have been furnished with heavenly power.” He was speaking of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, the Counselor. He helps guide God’s children to know and understand truth. The Holy Spirit is so important to our Christian walk that without Him we are blind to the spiritual things of God.
The meaning of the phrase “born of God” is actually “Born Again.” It’s just as Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:3. It’s a spiritual birth. And no one, no persuasive words or book knowledge can bring someone to a heart of repentance but the Holy Spirit.
On my site I want to share how Jesus has changed my life through the workings of the Holy Spirit in me. How my spiritual life went from, “I think I might try to maybe go to church next Sunday”, and now I’m on FIRE for Jesus. I pray that my site may bless your spiritual walk with Jesus and encourage others to seek to have a deeper relationship with Him. Be blessed God’s People!
